
Luminaires - Part 2-20: Special requirements - Lamp strings - Scope 1: This part of GB 7000 specifies the safety requirements for lamp strings with a power supply voltage not exceeding 250 V, used indoors or outdoors, in series or in parallel, and in series parallel combinations of incandescent lamps. Note 1: The Christmas tree light string is an example of using a series or series parallel light string. An example of using a parallel light string for lighting a snowpath or promenade is the use of a light string.
