Special requirements for temperature sensitive controllers for household and similar electrical automatic controllers 1. Scope and normative references refer to this chapter of GB 14536.1-2008, except for the following content. 1.1 Substitution: This section applies to electric automatic temperature sensitive controllers used in household and similar electrical equipment, or to electric automatic temperature sensitive controllers used in conjunction with them. These controllers are electric automatic controllers used in heating, air conditioning, and similar applications, and the electrical equipment they control can use electricity, gas, oil, solid fuel, solar energy, or a combination of them. This section is applicable to electric automatic controllers using NTC or PTC thermistors, and its additional requirements can be found in Appendix J. 1.1.1 This section is applicable to the safety of temperature sensitive controllers and the operating values, operating times, and operating procedures related to equipment safety. It is also applicable to the testing of automatic controllers used in household and similar electrical appliances or in conjunction with these appliances. Note: Examples of these controllers include boiler temperature controllers, fan controllers, temperature limiters, and thermal shutoffs. This section does not apply to electrical automatic controllers specifically designed for industrial use. This section applies to unit controllers that are part of the control system, as well as to unit controllers in a controller group that are integrated with multifunctional controllers with no battery output. This section applies to electrical automatic controllers in devices that are not designed for general household appliances but can still be used by the public. These devices include those used by non professionals in the commercial, light industrial, and agricultural fields. 1.1.2 This section also applies to the safety requirements of thermal controllers with non electrical output, such as refrigeration flow or gas controllers. 1.1.3 This section is applicable to controllers used in electrical appliances within the scope of GB 4706. Note: The term 'equipment' throughout this section includes' appliances' and 'control systems'. 1.1.4 This section also applies to manual controllers that are electrically or mechanically integrated with automatic controllers. Note: The requirements for manual switches that do not form part of the automatic controller can be found in GB 15092.1. 1.1.5 This section applies to disposable operating devices that comply with the terminology in this section P>
