This part of GB/T 32261 specifies user based summary testing methods, which can be used to test the availability and/or accessibility of consumer and public products (including ready to use products) by one or more specific user groups. In this testing method, product accessibility is considered a special case of product availability, and the users participating in accessibility testing represent the general user group with extreme characteristics and abilities. When the testing method involves usability, it can also be used to test accessibility (unless otherwise specified). This testing method can be used to effectively and reliably measure effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. Note 1: Public products include ready to use products that provide services to the public. This testing method can also be used to evaluate the usability and/or accessibility of consumer products in terms of unpacking, installation, and setup. This section can be used to test the usability and/or accessibility of products in the following situations: - - when typical usage scenarios of representative products can be clearly defined; - when the criteria for successfully achieving user goals can be clearly defined; - when the number of goals tested at the same time is limited. In addition to testing consumer and public products, this testing method can also be used to test other products, systems, and services with the above characteristics. If a product is in use and its input, output, or environmental conditions when interacting with users are variable and highly complex, and this variability or complexity makes it unable to be classified as a clear subset, then the product is not within the scope of this section because reliable results cannot be obtained in this case.
