This chapter of GB 14536.1 is applicable except for the following: 1.1 Substitution: This part is applicable to float type electric automatic water level operation controllers used in general household and similar equipment, on equipment, or in conjunction with equipment. Note: Examples include water level controllers for swimming pool pumps, water tower pumps, cooling towers, dishwashers, and washing machines. 1.1.1 This section is applicable to inherent safety, operating values and procedures related to equipment protection, and testing of water level operated automatic controllers used in household and similar equipment, on equipment, or in conjunction with equipment. This section also applies to controller 2 for electrical appliances within the scope of GB 4706 and GB 16895.19. Devices that are not intended for general household use but may still be used by the public, such as those intended for use by non professionals in shops, light industries, and farms, are also within the scope of this section. This section also applies to individual controllers that are part of the control system, or controllers that are mechanically combined with multi-functional controllers with no battery output. This section is not applicable to pressure operated water level sensitive controllers used in boiler electrical appliances, and the requirements for these controllers are included in GB 14536.17. This section does not apply to water level operation controllers designed specifically for industrial use. Note: In this section, the term 'equipment' includes' appliances and equipment '. 1.1.2 This section is applicable to electrical automatic controllers that respond to or control water levels during mechanical operation. 1.1.3 This section includes the electrical performance requirements and mechanical performance requirements that may affect the electrical safety of the water level operation controller. 1.1.4 This section applies to manual controllers that are combined with water level operation controllers through electrical and/or mechanical means. Usually, these water level operation controllers are integrated or combined with the equipment, or intended to be placed inside or on the equipment for integrated or combined use. This section also applies when these controllers are installed independently or in a wired structure
