This document defines a series of minimum standard environmental test conditions (categories) and corresponding test methods for airborne equipment. The purpose of these tests is to provide laboratory methods for determining the performance characteristics of airborne equipment under typical environmental conditions during use. The standard environmental test conditions and corresponding test methods listed in this document can serve as the minimum performance specifications under environmental conditions, which can ensure sufficient reliability in terms of equipment performance during operation. Note: In each test method of this document, the following terms can be repeatedly used to determine whether it meets the relevant equipment performance standards. The equipment performance indicators refer to one of the following meanings: AEUROCAE Minimum Performance Specification (previously required) (MOPS/MOPR). BRTCA Minimum Performance Standards (MPS) and/or RTCA Minimum Operating Performance Standards (MOPS). Applicable equipment technical indicators.
