Part 1: Testing of Porcelain or Glass Insulators 1.1 Purpose and Scope This part of GB/T 8287 is applicable to electrical installations or equipment with an AC nominal voltage above 1000 V and a frequency not exceeding 100 Hz, and to indoor and outdoor post porcelain or glass insulators and their components. Post insulators for DC systems can refer to this section for implementation. This section does not apply to composite insulators or indoor organic material post insulators. The purpose of this section is to define the terms used Specify the electrical and mechanical characteristics of post insulators; -- Specify validation conditions for characteristic values; - - Specify test methods; - Specify acceptance criteria. The characteristic values of post insulators are specified in GB/T 8287.2-2008. This section does not include the selection requirements for post insulators under special operating conditions. Note 1: The selection of insulators under polluted conditions can be found in IEC 60815. Note 2: This section does not include radio interference testing, and the test method is shown in JB/T 3567-1999. Note 3: If this part is used for hollow pillar insulation, the requirements of IEC 62155 should also be considered
