Testing of porcelain or glass insulator units for AC systems of overhead line insulators with a nomi

This part of the scope GB 1001 applies to porcelain or glass insulators for AC overhead power and traction lines with a nominal voltage above 1000 V and a frequency not exceeding 100 Hz. This section is also suitable for insulators used in DC overhead power traction lines. This section applies to insulator string components, rigid insulators for overhead lines, and insulators of similar structures used in substations. This section does not apply to insulators that constitute electrical components or components used in electrical structures, as well as post insulators included in GB 8287.1 "High voltage post porcelain insulators - Part I: Technical conditions". The testing of insulator strings and insulator sets (such as wet switching impulse voltage) is discussed in Part 2 of GB 1001. Note: This section does not include artificial pollution and radio interference tests. The corresponding test methods for these projects are discussed in the following standards: GB/T 4585.1-1984 High voltage insulators for AC systems - Pollution test methods - Salt spray method (eqv IEC 60507) GB/T 4585,2-1991 High voltage insulators for AC systems - Artificial pollution test methods - Solid layer method (idt TEC 60507) JB/T 3567-1999 High voltage insulators - Radio interference test method (eqv IEC 60437) The purpose of this section is to: - - define the terminology used; - - specify the characteristics of insulators and the conditions for checking the specified values of these characteristics; - - specify test methods; - specify judgment criteria. This section does not include the requirements for the selection of insulators for special conditions. Note: The guidelines for selecting insulators under polluted conditions can be found in JB/T 5895-1991 Guidelines for the Use of Insulators in Polluted Areas (neq IEC 60815). The characteristic values of insulators are specified in the corresponding product standards

Function of testing report:
