Insulated tools for live working - Inspection of insulated operating rods

This part of GB/T 16927 specifies the terminology used, general requirements for test procedures and specimens, generation of test voltage and current, test procedures, processing methods for test results, and criteria for determining whether the test is qualified. This section is applicable to the following tests for equipment with a maximum voltage U of 1 kV or above: a) DC voltage insulation test; b) AC voltage insulation test; c) Impulse voltage insulation test; d) Joint and composite tests of above voltages. Note 1. For on-site testing, please refer to GB/T 16927.3. Note 2. To obtain reproducible and effective results, alternative testing procedures may be required. The appropriate test procedure shall be selected by the relevant technical committee. Note 3. For U. Equipment greater than 800 kV may not be able to meet tolerances and uncertainties if certain specified procedures are to be met. The following normative references are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this document. For undated references, the latest version (including all modification orders) applies to this document.
