The maximum rated voltage of single-phase appliances does not exceed 250 V; The rated voltage of other appliances does not exceed 600 v. Note 1: Air conditioning devices incorporating humidifiers referred to in this part are covered in IEC 60335-2-40. In practical terms, this section deals with the general hazards associated with appliances, which can be encountered by all personnel within and around the residence.
