This chapter of GB 19212.1-2003 is replaced by the following:
This section specifies the safety requirements for various aspects of transformers (such as electrical, temperature, and mechanical aspects) p> This section is applicable to stationary or mobile, single-phase or multiphase, air cooled (natural cooling or forced cooling), matched or independent:
- constant voltage autotransformer p>
- Constant voltage separation transformer p>
- Constant voltage isolation transformer p>
- Constant voltage safety isolation transformer p> Its rated power supply voltage does not exceed 1000 V AC, rated frequency does not exceed 500 Hz, internal operating frequency does not exceed 30 kHz, and there is no rated output limit p>
Note 1: With the development of transformer technology, it may be necessary to increase the upper limit of internal operation failure rate. At that time, this section can be used as a guide p>
Constant voltage independent autotransformer:
- The no-load output voltage and rated output voltage exceed AC 50 V or ripple free DC 120 V and do not exceed AC 1000 V
or ripple free DC 1415 V p>
- Used for transformers that do not require insulation between circuits according to installation regulations or equipment specifications p>
Autotransformer for constant voltage matching:
- The no-load output voltage and rated output voltage shall not exceed AC 1000 V or ripple free DC 1415 V p>
Constant voltage independent separation transformer:
- The no-load output voltage and rated output voltage exceed AC 50V or ripple free DC 120V and do not exceed AC 1000 V or ripple free DC 1415 V p>
- Used for transformers that do not require double insulation or reinforced insulation between circuits according to installation regulations or equipment specifications p>
Separation transformer for constant voltage matching:
- The no-load output voltage and rated output voltage shall not exceed AC 1000 V or ripple free DC 1415 V p>
Constant voltage isolation transformer:
- The no-load output voltage and/or rated output voltage exceeds AC 50V or ripple free DC 120V and does not exceed AC 500V
or ripple free DC 708V; In order to comply with national electrical wiring regulations or special purposes, the no-load output voltage and rated output voltage can exceed these limits, but should not exceed 1000 V AC or 1415 ripple free DC
