Scope
This section involves the harmonic current limit values injected into the public power supply system; a) Equipment requirements and emission limits B) Method of type testing and simulation Note 1: According to this section, the test is a type test of a single complete equipment. Note 2: Compliance with this section can also be determined by validated simulation methods This section is applicable to electrical and electronic equipment with a rated current of more than 16 A per phase and less than or equal to 75A. These equipment are intended to be connected to the following types of public low-voltage AC distribution networks:
a) nominal voltage of 220 V or less, single-phase, two wire, or three wire systems. b) Nominal voltage 380 V and below, three-phase, three wire or four wire system. c) The nominal frequency is 50 Hz This section is applicable to equipment intended to be connected to low-voltage public systems. Not applicable to equipment intended to be connected to its own low-voltage system that is only connected to the medium or high voltage public power supply system
Note 1: The scope of this section is limited to equipment connected to the public low-voltage system, as the emission installed on the self owned low-voltage system equipment can be controlled by using the procedures specified in IEC/TR 61000-3-6 at the medium voltage common coupling
point, and/or through an agreement between the power supply department and the user. Expect operators of their own systems to ensure compliance with 1EC/TR
