GB/T6096-2009 Safety Belt Testing Methods
Terminology and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard
3.1 Safety Belt - Personal protective equipment used to prevent high-altitude workers from falling or to safely hang them after falling. Note: The general composition of seat belts can be found in Appendix A p>
3.2 Fencing Work Safety Belt - A safety belt that binds the human body to the vicinity of a fixed structure through ropes or belts surrounding it, allowing the operator's hands to perform other operations. Note: The example diagram is shown in Figure A.1 in Appendix A p> 3.3 Area Restriction Safety Belt - A safety belt used to limit the range of activity of workers and prevent them from reaching areas where falling may occur. Note: The example diagram is shown in Figure A.2 in Appendix A p> 3.4 Fall Hanging Safety Belt - A safety belt that is used to hang workers when they fall during high-altitude operations or climbing. Note: An example diagram of a fall arrest harness can be found in Figure A.3 in Appendix A p>
3.5 Safety rope - a rope (belt, wire rope) used to connect the tether and hanging point in the safety belt. Note: Safety ropes generally serve to expand or limit the wearer's range of movement and absorb impact energy p> 3.6 Buffer - a component connected in series between a tether and a suspension point, which absorbs some impact energy and reduces impact force in the event of a fall. 3.7 Speed difference automatic control device - retractable fall arrester - installed on the hanging point, equipped with a retractable length rope (belt, steel wire rope), connected in series between the tether and the hanging point, and a component that causes braking action due to speed changes in the event of a fall p> 3.8 Self locking device - guided fall arrester - a component attached to the guide rail and triggered by a fall action to brake. Note: This component may not have buffering capacity p> 3.9
