This standard applies to electronic devices designed to be powered by grid power sources, power equipment, batteries, or remote feeding systems, intended to receive, generate, record, or replay audio, video, and related signals separately. The wooden standard also applies to equipment designed specifically for use in combination with the aforementioned equipment This standard mainly applies to household and similar equipment, but it can also be used in public gathering places, such as in schools, theaters, places of worship, and workplaces. This standard also applies to professional equipment used in the above-mentioned places, unless these professional equipment has specific provisions within the scope of other standards This standard only pertains to the safety of the aforementioned equipment and does not involve other characteristics such as style or performance If the above devices are designed to be connected to a communication network or similar network using an integrated modem, then this standard also applies to such devices Some examples of equipment that fall within the scope of this standard are as follows:
