Introduction
This international standard is mainly modified based on the extraction method described in ISO 13877 to use gas chromatography and mass spectrometry detection, which is applicable to the levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon pollution in different soils.
This international standard describes two alternative extraction methods A and B Method A (two-step method): Extract on-site moist soil samples with acetone and petroleum ether, and then wash the extract with water according to ISO 13877 to remove acetone Method B (one-step or online method): Extract on-site moist soil samples using a mixture of acetone, petroleum ether, and water. This method is suitable for samples with high soil organic matrix content Experience has shown that both methods are applicable and their results can be compared to low and high polluting soilsFunction of testing report:
